That’s a Wrap!
The second and last weekend came to an end a little earlier than we expected! And it was also very successful! 
We completed every single scene and shot we needed to. And the footage looks gorgeous! Now it’s on to editing!!
Natasha’s highlights of weekend 2
- The flashback scenes! Veronica and Osei were so believable and fun, and it was a nice change of pace from the present day scenes.
- The cake shop! It was a perfect space.
- The funny prank I played on the crew, courtesy of Veronica, Osei and Kate. I’m still laughing!
- And finally, Working with such a wonderful, committed, talented crew!

Success!
We did it! The first weekend of shooting, “Blackout” went very well. The most difficult scenes were shot on Sunday and we managed to get them done. We are looking forward to next weekend.
Natasha’s Highlights
*Working with such talented, sweet actors. The child actors who played Imani and Manzi brought a lot of life to our set! And our lead actors are just wonderful people in general.
*The food! Haha. No but really. A Full Plate caters for us, and their food is delicious. The chocolate chip cookies were amazing!
*The SET! Our art director is amazing. Every detail of the set was incredible.
*Seeing our Director of Photography Arlene in action! Wow. This job is no joke. This film has scenes in the day time, in the rain, in the late afternoon, in the early morning and of course, in the middle of a blackout with only candles and “moonlight” lighting the actors. Everything looked beautiful!
